2009 COGBE CONFERENCE UPDATE!

The dates are January 9 and 10, 2009. The location is the Hawthorne Suites, 1659
Olympic Parkway, Conyers, GA 30013.
We will have two conference rooms for our training sessions with 22 rooms
reserved at this time.
We may be able to obtain more as demand develops. Click

We plan to offer this retreat at no charge to our members. We
are attempting to raise funds by gifts from friends
so that the COGBE members can attend free. If we have a shortage then we will
receive a love offering.
If you can pay nothing then come anyway, God will provide. I expect the total
bill to be approximately $7000.
If the dues come in as they should we will have about $5000 going into the
retreat.
We need to raise about $2000. I had a man who loves Jesus pledge $500 today.
He had never even heard of COGBE till I asked him for a gift.
Will you help to
raise the $2000?
For non-program guests the fee will be $125 per single and
$150 for couples. This event is open to guests such as pastors,
staff members,
Associational Missionaries, and your friends for that price which includes a
room, breakfast and the banquet.
For non-members not staying overnight the
banquet fee will be $25 per person by reservation only.
The program will feature music organized by Eddie Middleton
during the inspiration sessions Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Ron Herrod will deliver the inspiration and training messages Friday afternoon
and Saturday morning.
We will hear short messages from the NAMB and the GBC representatives.
I have asked a lady to lead some sessions for the ladies and am waiting to hear
her decision.
The banquet will feature Bob Smith for music and Junior Hill
for preaching. I expect Eddie will organize an afterglow
for Friday night where those who are musically talented among our members will
be able to share their love for Jesus
with us musically in one of the conference rooms after the banquet.
